LEMS Community: WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Our students will be participating in Advisory lessons about gratitude, specifically in regards to our military members and the challenges that families of military members face on a daily basis. As a follow up activity, students will be writing letters of thanks to members of our military and collecting coupons for families in need. Our efforts are directed to the following stations:

• Army: Grafenwoehr, Germany
• Marines: Iwakuni, Japan
• Air Force: Osan, Korea
• Navy: Rota, Spain

Objective: Collect manufacturers’ coupons for service members stationed overseas in order to reduce the amount of money they need to spend in order to stay within their budgets.

Goal: Collect $8,000 worth of coupons

Coupons Accepted: Any manufacture coupons for food, non-food and animal supplies. Ideally, expiration dates would extend to at least the end of January 2020. However, they can use expired coupons up to 3-6 months past the expiration dates. (Note: coupons for specific stores or restaurants cannot be accepted)

Can you help us reach our goal? If so, please send any and all coupons in by February 7th. Collection boxes will be in each Social Studies classroom and our  Front Office. THANK YOU for helping us support the dedicated members of our military and their families!!!!
