Recycling Contest

‪Congratulations to the 7th Graders!!

The recycling contest ran from January 30th - February 10th and on February 10th. ‬The LEMS Green Team collected plastic bottles and aluminum cans.  We are pleased to participate in the PepsiCo Recycling Program and we have a goal of collecting 11,000 bottles this year.  As of last week we have only collected 18% of our goal.  We are thinking this could help us get closer to our goal and help emphasize doing a better job of recycling here at school and in our community. ‬ The winning grade gets 15 minutes of extra recess.‬
