Maryland Leadership Workshops

The Women's Giving Circle of Howard County and Maryland Leadership Workshops have partnered together since 2006 to provide a week-long residential leadership workshop for rising 8th and 9th grade (present 7th and 8th grade) girls in Howard County.   This leadership experience is designed especially to help young women in Howard County (currently in grades 7 or 8) with the transition to high school. Workshops and activities draw out innate leadership skills resulting in enhanced motivation and self-esteem.
