Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®)
Children in grades 6-8 participate the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing in mathematics and reading. MAP is an untimed computer-adaptive assessment that measures student growth and achievement, independent of grade level or age. This is one indicator of your child’s progress, providing us an additional piece of information about achievement levels and growth in acquiring reading and mathematics skills.
Winter 2020 MAP testing will begin in February, and will take place during your child's math* and ELA* classes. We ask that if possible, you try to avoid student absences on these days. Specific dates are as follows:
