Parents, 

Please encourage students to enter the Star Merit Scholarship Contest.  Students that want to submit an essay must write 300-600 words on "What does 'fair and effective' governing mean in a democracy?"   Essays should be typed or written clearly, proper use of reference citation, should include Student Name, Student School ID #, and Middle School.  If interested, complete the application packet attached.
