On February 1, 2017, the LEMS PTSA conducted their general meeting along with a special presentation on Internet Safety. A representative from the U.S. Department of Justice was present to discuss a program entitled "Innocence Stolen: Protecting our Children Online." The presentation was designed for parents only, however, students were welcome to join if accompanied by a parent at the parents' discretion – the content was considered PG-13.
